Founded in 2003, Ecole Chocolat is a professional chocolate school that has helped hundreds of graduates from all over the world discover their passion for chocolate, hone their skills, and open successful chocolate businesses through their online chocolate programs.
Founder and lead instructor Pam Williams has been an influential member of the fine chocolate industry since 1981 when she opened her shop Au Chocolat, in Vancouver, Canada.
Ten years later, she sold the business and found another passion in the world of online education at the University of British Columbia in the continuing education department. But Pam never left the world of fine chocolate behind. People would ask her where they could get training to open a chocolate business, and a lightbulb went off. Using all the pieces of her professional background, Ecole Chocolat was born. For her efforts, Pam was honored to receive the Fine Chocolate Industry Association Award of Excellence in Service to the Industry.
With a team of expert instructors working in the industry, the school has helped hundreds of people, from home cooks to pastry chefs, discover a passion for this craft, hone their skills, and start successful businesses all over the world – and they would love to do the same for you.
Ecole Chocolat offers online programs for chocolatiers and chocolate makers, as well as masterclasses for students looking to advance their chocolate making skills. The curriculum for these programs is constantly updated to deliver the most up to date, high quality learning experience.
