Chef Rubber fruit powders are made from the whole fruit, freeze drying the entire content of the fruit and then grinding down into a powder. On our site you can find a variety of fruit flavors ranging from favorites like strawberry to dragon fruit. Keeping one or two of these handy is the perfect way to add an oomph of flavor of out-of-season fruits. Fruit powders can stand alone and be the main flavor ingredient in a recipe, or can be used to enhance the flavor. We do suggest allowing the flavors to develop and open up after they have been re-hydrated. For example, if you make a buttercream and allow it to sit overnight, you will notice a significant development in flavor.

If you are concerned with food waste, and shelf life stability these are a great solution to using ingredients that are not only delicious and natural, but can help save products from going to waste. Because there is no liquid content, that when stored in an airtight container, they could maintain their flavor and freshness for up to 5 years. Chef Rubber fruit powders contain nothing else but 100% fruit, making it normal for the sugar content to clump up. A quick fix to this is to simply add the clumps in a food processor or blender to help break up the powder.

FRUIT JUICE POWDER
We are excited to introduce this new line of fruit juice powders to our collection! This line is similar to our original fruit powders, but these are made entirely out of JUICE!
Imagine you’ve got a glass of freshly squeezed juice, now take that juice, freeze dry it, and grind it into a beautiful fine powder.
And that’s what we have here! Chef Rubber juice powders are not only great for mixing with water soluble solutions, but can also be used as a natural colorant.
Just like their sister line, juice powders can be used to add intense flavor and lovely natural color to products like ice cream, beverages, icings, etc.
Different from the fruit powders, juice powders consistency is finer grain. Because this product is pure juice, the flavor and color are more pronounced and produce intense results.
It’s a beautiful moment when you can take 1 product and use it 1,000 different ways. At least that’s how we feel about our freeze dried vegetable powders.
